Templates

Also called Scenarios, Landscapes or Workbenches.

Jo has a knack for making nicely landscaped templates for her parks, and she decided to make hers (many from finished parks) available for download, for people who like to build a big park from scratch but have a hard time starting from a completely flat park. Many have been created from the RCT1 Arid Heights scenario and most come with a lot of money ($5-10 million) with goals set to "Have Fun” or, when converted to RCT2, “build 10 rollercoasters”(This can be changed to “Have Fun” with the TRG trainer).

Note: When you open either RCT1(yes, they can be used in RCT2!) or RCT2 templates in the RCT2 scenario editor, the falls (if there are any) will disappear since they were made with the Splash Boat ride. Also, with RCT1 templates, you will have to add money with a trainer( 8 cars by ja227).


RCT1 Templates

When used in RCT1 most of these templates require the Drexler patch and Loopy Landscapes. Files are distributed zipped and they need to be unzipped and copied to the “Saved Games” folder of RollerCoaster Tycoon.

When you’d like to use them in RCT2 you can copy them to your RollerCoaster Tycoon2 “Landscapes” folder.
